This article discusses current aspects of the treatment of modern gambling addiction (gambling, ludomania). Gambling addiction is described as a complex mental disorder that causes significant damage to a person's social, professional, and family life. Methods: the paper discusses the classification of the disease according to ICD-10, as well as psychological and pharmacological methods of its treatment. In addition, the relationship with similar phenomena such as cyberaddiction is being studied. Special attention is paid to modern therapeutic approaches, including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational conversation, and the role of support groups. The article highlights the importance of a comprehensive approach to the treatment of gambling addiction and defines the directions of future research.
