Article is devoted to questions of studying of gossip is as a speech genre in Russian and English linguistic
cultures. Speech genres as well as works on linguistic consciousness, theory and classification of rumours and
gossips proposed by linguists and psychologists have been studied. Gossips published in newspaper columns “It
is rumoured that…” and “Gossip! Gossip! Gossip!” were used as study materials. Specific parameters of
rumours genre have been identified.
This article examines the theoretical aspects of the artistic picture of the world as process of authorial
design of objective reality.
The theoretical aspects of the Content Language Integrated Learning developed by the European
scientists are considered in the article.

Annotation: The article describes the key competencies in relation to school education; the author's classification of key competencies is proposed . The authors analyzed the structure of the competence-oriented tasks: stimulus - task formulation - source of information - report form, the transformation of the traditional tasks of the Russian language into the competence-oriented is shown with the practical examples.
Annotation: The article describes the history of the slogan, linguistic means inherent to slogan in the Russian, English and German languages are studied, as well as general characteristics and differences in the choice of linguistic units when creating slogans are identified.
Annotation: In this article the analysis of the semantic features of the political metaphors in the modern Kazakh language are given. The author considers formation of the political metaphors, offers their classification.

Annotation: The article deals with the problems of anthropocentrism principle of language which is characterized as detailed study of the status of person in language and nowadays it is urgent problem.
